University leadership
He has held numerous academic leadership positions, including Vice-Rector of the University of Mostar (2009–2013), Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Mostar (2013–2017), Head of the Department of Journalism (2009–2013), Head of the Department of Public Relations (2014–2017), and Head of the Postgraduate Specialist Programme in Public Relations at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Mostar (2008–2014).
Teaching
He has taught at undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels at the University of Zagreb (Faculty of Political Science, Croatian Studies), the University of Dubrovnik (Media and Culture of Society Programme), University North (Public Relations Programme; doctoral programme in Media and Communication), the University of Split, and the University of Mostar (Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Health Studies, Faculty of Science, Mathematics and Education, Faculty of Law, and the Academy of Fine Arts).
He introduced new and innovative curricula and created new scientific courses and study programmes. He is a lecturer at the Croatian Football Federation Football Academy (UEFA PRO) and a guest lecturer for the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Research and academic contribution
He has published numerous book chapters and over one hundred (100) scientific and professional papers. His scientific books have been translated into English, Spanish, and Slovak. He is widely cited in national and international journals and has participated in and presented at more than 120 international and domestic scientific and professional conferences.
He has served as principal investigator and researcher on numerous national and international research projects and has delivered many expert lectures at academies, foundations, institutes, and conferences. He is a member of several editorial boards and councils of domestic and international journals and has supervised more than 200 student theses at all levels of study.
Awards and public engagement
He is the recipient of twenty-seven (27) awards and recognitions. He has appeared on numerous national television and radio stations in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia as a media and political analyst. He has designed and led several national election campaigns.
